I never said that and I think that you misunderstand what the right means when they want smaller government. I want a smaller government in terms of limiting the authority and power of the government over it's people. I want to preserve the liberty of people as much as possible. Most of the right would agree with that and this is what they mean by smaller government.
I didn't mean be a global player as in be a part of international community like the EU. They're off their rockers. I meant it as in playing chess on a international level where we're allies with other friendly countries but not partners on equal grounds. We lead the way and stir the world towards a future we want for the world and one that suits us and our allies best. It would also work out really well for most countries. You can't do that by being a hermit country. I don't care for these proxy wars or trying to set up puppet-like governments. We also don't have to counter whatever Russia or China does on reflex.
