Yes, of course it should.

I rarely use the feature on XB1. But, there are a handful of PS3 games that I would like to play on my PS4 Pro. In fact, if PS4 had back-compat at launch, I'd have been much more likely to buy one at that point. Instead, I waited until the Pro to finally buy in.
