The thing is that I actually find the criticism towards Sony as justified. Over the past few years, I've noticed that Sony hasn't done much to help niche games. Persona 5, for example, hardly got any mention during their press conferences. Gravity Rush 2, which is a 1st party game for crying out loud, had very little marketing and promotion.

They also ended up slowing down on indie support, now they have more AAA titles on board. At the start of the gen it was all about showing as much Indie support, but after 2017 it's basically become a thing to not focus on.

I hope you realise that the headline of that article is simply a clickbait.

Sony's Jim Ryan said that for the E3 presentation specifically, they found some stuff more relevant to show and some less so. He even clearly says that their own Gran Turismo Sport was not given a spotlight at their E3 conference, just like an indie video reel, because they found those less relevant to the show, but still very much important to Sony.

Also while Britain has questionable taste levels in games, its good to hear the French have great ones (jrpgs) apparently :)

Wait, so this is off-topic, but did someone actually ban JPRGfan for this harmless, jokingly made sneer at UK's taste in regards to RPG? I mean there's a clear smiley at the end, indicating you shouldn't take this as anything too serious.

I would normally be surprised at such appalling decision, but then again this is par for the course when it comes to Aura7541.
