Does Sony need an exclusive multiplayer!?

This is one of the reasons MS if not winning the gen, it focus's on multiplayer games (a role 3rd party already fills really well) and its lacking in other genre's.

It makes much more sense for sony not to follow down that route, and instead stick to their strengths (esp when no one else on the market does what they do), those Single player experiances cant be gotten else where, Nintendo & MS dont really do game like them, its a reason to buy a Playstation, while Sony makeing some Online Multiplayer game, probably wouldnt be.

Why wouldnt make sense for them!? They also have plenty of singleplayer games or games from most other genre from 3rd party also, and they still make singleplayer games and games from different genres, but they are lacking some big multiplayer game. Clarly they dont need it, they are doing great even without big multiplayear game, but they would doing fine even without some other single player games they having, I just find strange that they dont have some big multiplayer game.

Biggest reason one why MS is losing this gen from Sony is the initial DRM plans and inferior hardware for higher price point, both Sony and MS didnt had soem big exlusives in its first year or two.
