This isn't Nintendo'a fault, I don't see why it could. I just think that's pretty annoying to constantly read how unacceptable every company is treating the Switch. Square usually announces games way too early, just look at KH3 and FF 7R. But in the end they are usually pretty good. Dragon Quest on the Switch will follow that patern. But it will just take a bit longer to get there than earlier anticipated. In the end a delayed game can still be great while an unoptimised game is a worse game in the end. Probably Q1 2019 and than all the critics on this site will love it too death and shame Square for not directly releasing KH3 and FF7R on the Switch. |
I have seen very few people seriously ask about FF7R and KH3. Let's not blwo this completely out of proportion.
And as a friendly reminder, this upcoming PS4 release is just a localization. The game actually released all the way back in July of 2017. So if it launches in Q1 2019, thats a long, long gap between releases for a game announced so early. It's not like they are wrapping up PS4 development now, the development essentially wrapped up the better part of a year ago.
