Only thing President Trump (and the modern Republican Party in general) cares about is making himself and his rich buddies, including the military contractors and suppliers of war, even richer. That's why he keeps pushing for a bigger Defense budget. Cause in his eyes socialism is good when it helps the rich but not when it helps everyone else. Taxpayer money padding Raytheon's pockets? A good thing. Taxpayer money helping the most sick, vulnerable and destitute be able to survive? That's the worst thing imaginable.
