Games are announced too early by all. Crackdown 3, sea of thieves, they were both early announcements as well.
Nintendo is better than the other two but botw... And I imagine metroid prime 4 won't release till at least 2 years after the announcement.
Games should be revealed no more than 18 months in advance, and initial reveal should include in-engine footage not just a cgi trailer and absolutely not just a name or logo.
