GotG2.
There was something about this one that as a fanboy irked me. The film itself was 'more of the same' the GotG formula. Nostalic music, colours and quirky characters. Drax was mostly pointless in this film with no real plot or progression. But even though it was more of the same, it was good. I enjoyed it a lot, it was entertaining.
8/10
Fanboy wise though, Why was Ego a man? Even when fighting near the end, he stayed a man instead of just killing everyone on him. Ego the Living planet was weak. The there is this Sovereign race... Him and Her were created by humans (Drax is human too but let's ignore that) to be the perfect beings. Visions stone is Adam's.
The bogging down is starting to irk me more than I'd like. GotG guise of Starlord is now the main one in the comics, a jokey idiot. But alas, there is an odd thing in Marvel, they try and make the characters seem like their Movie conterparts forgetting where those movies versions came from, but movie goers don't buy comics, so those changes are putting real readers off. This is turning into more of a gripe at Marvel/Disney and their comics so I'll stop.
Hmm, pie.
