COULD those things be free? Sure. But I could also pirate all my movies. I don't mind paying for a service if it means that I get better service. 

I don't LIKE that you have to pay for online, I didn't like it when Xbox 360 was doing it either, but I'm an adult now and the pocket change I pay per month for it is worth the convenience. If you don't feel that way, that's fine, but don't act like it's an affront to your sensibilities to pay for a service.

I'm explaining why I don't care for the PS plus, I'm explaining how those so called free games are not actually free. It's not about this being an affront to my sensibilities it's about me not falling for a so called free game that is not actually free but blocked behind a paywall.

If you have a problem with people giving their opinion on the PS Plus then maybe it is you who have your sensibilities ruffled.

I don't have a problem with you paying for the PS Plus so why do you seem to have a problem with me not paying for it?

As for the other reasons you mention to have a subscription, they are good reasons like online storage and whatnot but I don't care for that, it's not good enough for me. If one day those reasons become good enough then I'll simply get the subscription, right now they are not good enough so I don't.
