I don't trust the new Japanese generations to continue what their elders did in the anime genre. anime went from quality to quantity since like 1999.

I disagree completely.  Every generation has had its share of classics.  If anything, average quality has probably risen.

Always sad to see someone quitting this wicked world.

I'll always remember Grave of the Fireflies as the only movie which has made me cry legit and feel a palet of emotions I've never felt while watching a movie before that day. And you also watch it only once for obvious reasons.

I doubt I'll probably feel this way again someday.

I watched it twice.  I think I cried harder the second time.  I bought the DVD after that but I never intend to watch it a third time.

Only Yesterday was really good, too.  Very down to earth and genuine.
