Did you even bother to read my post or read the links? You should have tried harder.
I will write one more and last time. It can´t be clear than that.
The only time Sony used, or tried to use unproven* technologies they almost killed the company. They went from an 80% market share to roughly 33%.

*I have to be fair, the PS3 PowerPC core was proven in workstations and Apple PCs. The real killers were the SPEs and Blu Ray.
