There was and is a trial version of The Sims 4 on Origin, where you can try out the full main game for 48 hours... so why pirate it?
And EA never made a secret about expansion packs... they were there since The Sims 1.
Also please spare use the stereotypes from sentences like "I don't pirate since I'm not a PC gamer" which only poison the discussion.
