I liked Captain America: Civil War when I first saw it. I didn’t love it. The plot left me somewhat ambivalent. I went in with high expectations. I was certainly excited for it. I had skipped Ant-Man in theaters but there was no way coming off Winter Soldier (which I loved) that I was going to miss my now favorite Avenger’s potentially last standalone film. Not to mention the epic storyline that was being adapted. This could have been what Age of Ultron wasn’t. And for the most part it succeeded. But I didn’t love it the way everyone else was gushing over it. I’m glad I’m getting this chance now to rewatch and see where I fall. See you on the other side!
