religion which to me is faith in something beyond empirical evidence is a fundamental aspect of being a human, so to me your proposition is not possible
ironically i've been noticing that many of the people who claim to be staunchly against religion happen to have some of the most delusional beliefs i have ever seen and the irony of it never ceases to amaze me

For instance?

anarcho communists that can't rationally explain how they can make all people equal without imposing rules through government never mind them equating communism and anarchism which are opposites

feminists that think equity can be achieved once they place enough restrictions on men, in the process perpetuating the very phenomena they claim to be fighting - sexism

marxists who go on and on about how abject poverty is increasing because the rich are taking advantage of everyone else when statistics clearly show that poverty is being eradicated(because of capitalism)

and the list goes on and on and on... these groups are generally atheistic and yet their core beliefs are pretty much religious and just as divorced from reality as the doctrines found in belief systems like christianity
