Nothing is changing, see my post above. Ni No Kuni didn't even sell all that well on the PS3, so not sure why you think that will change anything.

Most Japanese third party games do (relatively) poorly on the PS4, MHW is the major exception (and even that game didn't help the baseline of the PS4 at all).

NNK on the PS3 sold better than it did on the DS which had nearly twice as big of a user base ...

As for your last sentence if what you said were true then why are they still bringing games to the PS4 after 4 years since it's launch ? Much less, they've only further solidified their support for the PS4 after the release of the Switch since big Japanese game publishers such as Bandai Namco, Capcom, Koei Tecmo and Square Enix will not bring the majority of their upcoming titles to the Switch ...

Hopefully the second half of the year will show more support for the Switch. It’ll have been more than a year and thoughts of doubt of the Switch’s success should be less of an issue by then. Plus the power issue isn’t as crazy as the Wii vs. the HD twins and the only real gimmick of the Switch is the portability factor, which is huge in Japan.
