what part of plan B don't you understand? I knew the wiiu was gonna fail, you think nintendo didn't have any plans just in case wiiu failed? the hype for the console was none existent.

What do you think that was plan B and not A, actually all suggests that was plan A, they admitted that they had huge problems in ddevelopment because supporting two different platforms in same time and thats why they had those plans so early. You think that evrething Nintendo related will fail, so what you thought about Wii U is totally irelevant, Nintendo thought until Q4 2013. that Wii U will start selling and thats far more important in this discussion, because Nintendo start talking about unified platform and combined markets in January 2013. and they later said they had similar plans even before but technology wasn't yet there.

i never thought switch would fail, always had it 40-50 million, now 60-70. Nintedo home consoles usually struggle, 3 out of the last 4  were failures for nintendo, so it's not a surprise they were talking about a unified platform, as they are used to there home consoles not doing good, and 3ds will probably be the weakest entry in the handheld market for them, it makes sense to be getting ready for a unified platform., in case wiiu failed, which had a high probability.
