You still dont get it, Nintendo start talking about unified platform and combined markets around Wii U launch when nobady know that Wii U will fail and that goes espacily for Nintendo (in same time they made plan to marge their handheld and home console divisions), and main reason for that was that they had huge problems supporting two difrent platforms in same time where both platforms suffered from droughts (just look at Wii U).

what part of plan B don't you understand? I knew the wiiu was gonna fail, you think nintendo didn't have any plans just in case wiiu failed? the hype for the console was none existent.

What do you think that was plan B and not A, actually all suggests that was plan A, they admitted that they had huge problems in ddevelopment because supporting two different platforms in same time and thats why they had those plans so early. You think that evrething Nintendo related will fail, so what you thought about Wii U is totally irelevant, Nintendo thought until Q4 2013. that Wii U will start selling and thats far more important in this discussion, because Nintendo start talking about unified platform and combined markets in January 2013. and they later said they had similar plans even before but technology wasn't yet there.
