this gen will do 190 million, so i have no clue what you are talking about, not getting to half. obviously the motion controls fad era has disappeared, ps4 willl do 120-130 million, not really that far off from ps2.

Well thats just laughable to me that you actually think this. it would be the equivalent of sony making a switch like device for ps5 and giving the dedicated home console market to Microsoft which is  huge and the stupidest move they could make , it's make 0 sense, and you actually tell me that i don't understood how business work, i'm done this aint going anywhere. nintendo has been wanting to stop competing with MS/sony since the wii came out, thats why they stopped making powerful hardware, as they figured they can't compete after the GC.

No dude your guessing PS4 will do 120-130m doesn't mean it will happen as it would need to sell another 50m in its twilight years that's not a concrete argument for your stance.

This part highlights how business is not your forte and you're out of your league you firstly pick Sony as your example who employ a different market strategy and are a different market situation secondly you struggle to understand a Switch like device is a home console as well it's a gaming device that people use to match their preferred experience a hybrid is not separate from the dedicated console market, you're trying to argue business yet don't even understand product concept. To further highlight how out your depth you are here if Sony made a switch like device you really think third parties are not going to be on board especially eastern developers just as well you're done as business is not your strong point.  Nintendo did what they've always done with the Wii they did things their own way you can tell yourself Switch isn't competing until the Sun burns out but the truth says otherwise as it's taking market share, it's receiving third party games to the point it has games announced for it that even X1 isn't getting despite the game also being bound for PS4.

What Switch does is twofold it solves the resource and segmented userbase and market problem for Nintendo while for the competition it forces them to indirectly compete with the parallel portable market no matter what they do had the been another portable competitor it would have force it to compete with the home console market indirectly as well.

you keep repeating yourself just stop. you have no clue about business , stop acting like it. i already know switch is a home console as well, but it's not a dedicated home consoles, it's features don't match a dedicated home console. if sony made a switch like device it would be dead, as everyone who wants a powerful home console which is what sony is catering to would buy a xbox, xbox sales would sky rocket and sony would be screwed as well as third partys not being happy as they prefer powerful consoles.
