Handheld Consoles always felt like a compomised experience before the Nintendo Switch.

The only alternative is carrying around my pro controller and propping the damn thing up... which is what I have had to do most of the time when the game I'm playing requires precise controls. If Nintendo would have put full analog stick and a d-pad on those joy cons, the thing would be flawless. 

I guess the good news is that for the first time ever, they can just revamp the joy cons with those things and we won't have to buy all new consoles like the GBA SP/DS Lite etc.
