1. Goku is NOT a video game character.

2. If he was included, what would be next ? Eric Cartman ? Naruto ? Mickey Mouse ? I'm serious, if you start breaking the rules for 1 character, you'll need to start doing it for others.

3. Most Important point: Video Game characters should at the very least have priority over everything else.

I'm not completely against Goku in Smash, but actual video game characters should have priority over him. In this order
Nintendo Characters >>>>> 3rd party characters >>>>>>>>>> Whatever else you want.

Edit : Also, the ROB argument is stupid. Sure, ROB started off as a "toy" but it was created by Nintendo as an "accessory" for the Famicom so it's a nintendo character, and arguably, a video game "character". The fact is, he was created by Nintendo so he's a nintendo character.

1. He has more screen time in games than anime.

2. Not an apt comparison; combined, those three characters ha e appeared in only around 50-60 games. Goku has appeared in 98, many of which include stories and characters unique to those games.

3. Good thing Goku's video game presence is only rivaled by titans like Mario.

BONUS ROUND: Donkey Conga Drums confirmed for Smash.

So because Goku has appeared in more video games than Eric Cartman, only he should be in Smash ? Stop with your retarded logic already.

By that same logic Link shouldn't be in Smash because he appeared in less games than Mario...

What i said is still true, If you start putting characters like Goku, that means Eric Cartman, Naruto, Iron Man and whatever else can be in Smash too. All of them appeared in multiple video games. It doesn't matter if Goku appeard in more games than them, if you include one, it means the others are not out of the question.

So you have 2 possible choices

A. You don't include any of them

B. All of them stand a chance at being in Smash.
