I've been to countries where people just throw stuff on the ground, it looks really bad, smells bad, spoils the feel of the place, and harms animals, costs society a fortune to clean up, I will never do that as I've seen the consequences
I even pick up other peoples litter, if someone litters I have a very poor opinion of them, and so does many of my country men/women, I live in Australia where nearly everyone keeps the place clean, which I am very grateful for
