It will most likely happen unless PS5 gets released early.
2018 - 20m
2019 - 17m
2020 - 10m (PS5 released this year)
2021 - 5m
2022 onwards - 3m
These are probably conservative estimates. The PS4 is wildly more popular than the PS3 with much more potential in price cuts and thus should sell better in it's twilight years.
