Mario Kart in general is FAR better local multiplayer than online could ever possibly be.
As a local multiplayer game, I’d argue Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the greatest games of all time. At my office, we’ve been going almost every lunch hour since launch; you can have up to 12 people at once.
