NFS Hot Pursuit, when talking of Criterion and amazing racing games everyone comes up with Burnout: Paradise but Criterio really nailed it in NFS Hot Pursuit. The gameplay, the graphics, the sense of speed, world design and soundtrack everything came together so damn well in that game. Its my favourite arcade racing game of all time.
GOW Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta don't get nearly enough love from portable gamers and God of War fans just because they were PSP games. They are 2 of the best games I've ever played.
Titanfall 2's campaign doesn't get enough recognition. Its the best FPS campaign of this gen and better than Doom because it feels a lot more varied.
Infamous 1, 2 & Second Son don't get any recognition and seem to have no fans at all clamouring for a sequel. They are some of the most fun games I've played in the last 2 gens but campaign players these days seem to want story over gameplay and these games never had multiplayer so probably why they never found an audience. They aren't talked about very much despite having such a great blend of platforming, open world and combat.
