What's also relevant is the Switch's stronger software lineup overtime compared to the 3DS but that doesn't make the comparison any less apt ... Even though a price cut wasn't intended for the 3DS's strategy that's just how it played out but we also shouldn't assume that Nintendo will take a similar path in pricing strategy because that already isn't so when their paths diverged for sometime and quite frankly, an apples to apples comparison can never be made between two different systems however that doesn't mean we can't statisically isolate the market performance between them ... It's also intriguing that you've taken a standpoint from a certain someone in this community to focus on the nuances ... |
Again you can't get around the fact that a price cut was needed and to top it off the line up part has also debunked as overtime 3DS had an equivalent line up yet still required a price cut this is something you can't argue in anyway as one thing that is universal across all platforms regardless of strategy is that companies don't want to be force into an early price cut. This shows that Switch's strategy off the bat is working far better and going much more to plan than what the 3DS had planned in the same time period.
It's intriguing the certain other person seems to have ruffled your feathers to the point they're always on your mind.
