I was hyped for it for years leading up to its release, even going so far as to pre-order it. I played the betas (Both of them) And already got bored before the end of them. Based on what critics are saying, what my friends who do own it are saying, and what I'm seeing in the streams/youtube videos, my worst fears were correct and the game is an empty, hollow shell of a game.

due to a clerical error on Amazon's part, I didn't get the game at pre-order, and I'm glad I didn't. Honestly, just looks like a huge disappointment.

And again, the truth of having some people like it doesn't mean it's a good game, or that it's fit for the majority. I return you once again to my escargot comment. sure, some like it, some happen to enjoy that kind of thing and I respect that, but MOST gag and find it gross, just like how it seems MOST don't like Sea of Thieves due to its lack of depth, a lack of a progression system, and a lack of content.

If you have played it then why don't you write about your experience playing it, things you want them to add etc? What kind of a progression system would you want? What kind of adventures you had with your friends while playing the beta and what made you bored in the end?

I've been reading what people have to say about the game and I don't see MOST disliking it. Sure, there's a lot of complaints and people are giving feedback, listing the things they want added etc. but that doesn't mean they don't like the game. A million players in two days and for some reason you're convinced that majority of them didn't enjoy it.

You also can't take the million number and assume they enjoyed it either.  Hell, how many people played No Mans Sky day 1 and look at that situation.  The issue I keep seeing with Sea of Thieves isn't that it isn't enjoyable, its that after a couple hours you have seen pretty much everything the game has to offer.
