According to what logic because as it goes Switch is looking like it'll beat out 3DS in Japan when it's all said and done,  3DS at this point in its life already had a price cut for a start.

According to the launch aligned sales in Japan from Media Create and your price argument is irrelevant since no two platform strategies are the same ...

Word of advice, don't base your argument on presumptions such as Nintendo themselves intending to match the price of Switch against the 3DS without solid evidence ...

But Switch alredy surpassed its predecessor.. You know the WiiU. You this bwcausw when you type predecessor you had to add 3ds to it XD

Edit: ironically its not all about selling a number. Ps4 and NSW are already better than 3ds and ps3. The latter 2 systems lost a bunch of money while the former profited lol

This discussion is about sales numbers ...

Except price is relevant because the 3DS was behind during the period it had the higher price you know why because Switch off the bat is a more appealing device even at its current price. 3DS required a 50 quid price cut to get into gear even though its launch price was still 50 quid lower than what the Switch is, cutting the price early for 3DS was never the intended strategy for it.
