From Microsoft, I want them to continue to innovate the industry. Push features, online gaming, and quality. Leave Japan, the region is in a gaming rut and quite frankly, I don’t think the average Xbox gamer cares about what Japan produces. Focus and differentiate yourself to what you know your customer is. Invest more into gaming as a service. Let’s face it, Xbox gamers like to play socially online. Personally, I can’t recall the last time I put any effort into a single player campaign. Gears, Halo, Forza - excellent SP and multiplayer modes. All three I’ve barely touched the SP, but it’s the MP that keeps me coming back.
Sony: Well, I’m not part of their demographic so keep doing what you do best and have a nice day.
Nintendo: As a WiiU owner, I don’t see what the Switch has to offer me other than Mario Odyssey. I’m seeing a lot of remasters that barely look to have benefited a new generation. I’m an adult so a handheld means little to me. If I feel the need to game on the go, I have an IPhone for that. I’m not about to lug a tablet, carts, and a joycon around. I’m just not. Make a contemporary console or I’ll skip your next iteration as well.
