Why would they make a DMC1 remake so close the release of a DMC HD Collection that took so little money to make? Then again, you aren't saying that's a realistic pick : P

I guess i'm the only From Soft fan that really wants something new ... but I would happily take Bloodborne 2 as well, just rings as too much saturation in the Soulsborne scene

Blame Kamiya's teasing tweet.. I know he was fooling around but I'm a big DMC1 fanboy! A part of me can't help but read into it :'(

As for Bloodborne, I just adore the setting, man. I get chills just thinking about it.

Kamiya's tweet is lunacy, he is a very outspoken person and besides ... I'd rather he focus on Bayonetta 3 (!!!) first. But yeah, it would be pretty cool to see a DMC1 remake.

Hasn't the director of the Souls games said already that he's working on a new IP?

"There’s absolutely no plan right now for any sequels, spin-offs or tie-ins. But I can’t say for certain the possibility is 0%. For example, if a From Software developer come to me five years from now and beg ‘please let me make another Dark Souls‘. Then I will not rule out the possibility to let my subordinates start a new project. What is certain for now is, to me personally Dark Souls is over."

I feel like the spin-off part is pretty important ... that's essentially what Bloodborne was akin to, even if it's a different IP. I'll admit that I'm biased. For me, Dark Souls 2 really spoiled the series and Bloodborne I just never got into, it was DS3 that got me back into the series. But I will say I want to get back to Bloodborne and finish it ... it has a very great atmosphere too. The graphics are insane. I just think that he probably wants to take a break, and I think that's a good thing, since we've already had legendary Souls game after legendary Souls game. He considered DS3 the end of the series, and now he's even the president of the entirity of From Software. I would say I'm biased towards a break, for something new, and I definitely think that's the direction he's going in ... but i'm not sure! Could always be Bloodborne 2! And if it was, it would give me a good excuse to finish the first one!

I think it's just more likely he'll return after making a New IP (and probably a sequel to that new IP)
