Something I would really like to see and should've been implemented a while ago is the idea of integrated dev tools as part of a pay to play/participate for aspiring game developers.
I'm obsessed with customization. Ever since create a character I've always said that every game should incorporate some sort of user creation.
But this idea would one up that notion.
Basically...with a membership youre granted access to programs...that would obviously be dumbed down for the masses....that allow users to make their own games.
What I would do is have a system where once games meet a certain criteria...they could be funded by producers or studios and proceeds or any sales would be contracted to the creators.
I honestly believe that idea would generate huge sales and open a market and possibly a certain demographic of players/developers.
