You know, you can just cancel your pre-order at just about every retailer (at least, you can in the US).
With that said, I generally try not to pre-order games unless there's a really good deal for doing so. I just don't think it is right to commit to a game before reviews come out, as there are so many broken games released these days.
With both of those things said, why would you buy this Sea of Thieves anyway? Just subscribe to Gamepass. I'm not currently a subscriber, but I'll probably sign up for a little while sometime soon, so that I can play this game.
