I just fell with my nose in the butter.
Which is the direct and literal translation of a Dutch saying that's relevant to me right now. I walked in a store today and there they were, a whole stack, neatly lit under some heavenly light. SNES Classics. I hadn't ever seen one, purchasable like that out in the wild. But all of a sudden I see 20, nay 30 of them.
So now one is mine. Maybe there will be a day when I will even see a real NES Classic out there.
Anecdotal, but it seemed the store had just recieved a big Nintendo shipment, because when I went over to the Nintendo section for a minute a worker was introducing who I assumed was someone new, and I overheard him telling the new guy, with a grin like a used-car salesman, that "they have a sweet stock now", refering to the Switch. The tone implied that it would be gone again quickly enough. And indeed, they had a sweet stock.
Anyway, SNES Classic... Yay!
