While Switch must be surely under my expectation for the month, i think the 30% gap between the 2 is more because of PS4 doing better than expected.

Total hardware sales was up 38% compared to last year, i'm making some estimates and right now i figure that total hardware could be 1.2/1.3 million for the month. ( but that's an estimate)
If so, we should looking at PS4 in the ~400K range and Switch at 300-310K.
If so, it has to sell more in March than in February, this will be hard but not impossible. Until March the bet is not over. :P

We'll see. i doubt ps4 did anywhere near 400k, it had strong competition by from xbox, so i expect like 330k, its looking like you need a miracle to win. damn i just keep on winning :)

We already know PS4/XB1 gap is ~17% in PS4 favour. XB1 was also very competitive in January since it sold only 7.5% less than PS4, but actually the gap is increased and not decreased. Imo i thought PS4 numbers would have been more in line with ~350K this time, but right now ~400K range seem more likely, it perfectly explain the numbers. Also it would be the third year consecutive where PS4 sold around 400K.
