To be honest, it comes to how he was pushed. Spent half the year in the hospital wins slammy for wrestler of the year. Doesn't help that at best he's only competent in the ring. He's still pretty bad on the mic to this day (Last week's promo wasn't really any good). Vince also screwed himself over when he managed to train the fans to hate him/the company. If they just did a slow burn for Reigns and let him get over organically they wouldn't be in this mess. Doesn't help Vince keeps trying every year to get him over at mania. So it boils down to Vince vs the fans. With the ratings going down year on year, half empty arenas for T.V. shows (Not even house shows), you have an issue with Vince. If they let Reigns be a silent killer, he'd be over.
