I’d also like to point out that the left wing of the US has a vocal group of people whom are also extremely racist. Whether it be ignorantly or purposefully -it is not excusable. They, like their right wing brethren are not and should not be excused for their behavior.
But since I already commented on the right wingers in this thread already, a good example of left wing racism would be the announcement of Jon Favreau as the writer of the live action Star Wars series coming out later on. I cannot even comprehend the hypocrisy and stupidity running out of the mouths of not just commenters but also Hollywood elites saying that they were disappointed he was picked rather than a black woman, gay man, or whatever. It’s like Jesus Christ, imagine if someone had said that for a female lead! Oh wait, we saw that with many of the reactions towards Rey. The Star Wars fanbase is actually a good place to look at everything wrong with American partisan politics today
