RE: your first point... You might as well just say you hate big business.  Sony gladly jumped to it, and Nintendo wants a piece of the pie too.  

Look at Nintendo's recent pricing structure in general... clearly Japanese companies operate for max profit, just like American ones.  Its a universal language and the ONLY way to keep it in check is to vote with your wallet.

Eh. I do generally dislike big businesses, but to me, Microsoft seems even worse than the competition.
