Anyways, seems like bigger picture is what's ignored in people taking this story as relevant.
i.e. 'devkits now mean 2019 release'. what is a devkit? doesn't need to be close to production HW.
it can just be a PC with specs close to what is envisioned for final product, doesn't even need to
have special feature support, just the basic number crunching that will baseline peformance expected.
You don't need release to be around the corner to do that, you just need a mid-high end PC. Seriously.
And that is GRANTING a basic level of credibility to the "report" that is far from a given.
