Pretty sad you have now spent almost 3 months attacking a kids movie

Pretty sad you enter a thread because you feel the need to defend a kid's movie.  Though, what makes it even sadder is that you have to actually degrade Star Wars, a franchise for ALL ages, to a "kid's movie" to try to take a shot at me.  I'm sure those 20-40 year old fans really appreciate your analysis of the film.  But, hey, if it makes you feel better attacking me, as well as them, just to ignore the poor performance of this film due to fan backlash, you go right ahead.  Just know this movie was still seen as a disappoint to millions of fans and Disney isn't exactly thrilled with its performance, both in terms of tickets and merch.  Not when they thought it was going to do at least $1.7B and a standalone Marvel film now threatens to take its spot.

Pretty sure he's just giving box office info. That's all.

If you want to call looking around for any way to make a $600+ million movie look bad, I suppose you could call it objective.

When that movie is a Star Wars film, the largest franchise in history...Well, it used to be.  I think Disney has degraded it to #2, now, as MCU takes its spot.  Anyway, the follow up to a film that did $2.07B and broke the DBO record, and the safe bet for the film at the DBO was $750M+, $1.7B+WW...Yea, that does look bad.  Especially since it has undoubtedly hurt the brand in the now, with lower ticket and merch sales, and we'll have to see the release of future titles to see how it has affected it in the future.
