there appears to be two different copyrights, one for the game and one for the characters. but in the Inkling reveal trailer, the only characters that were explicitly shown were the Inklings, Mario, and Link; all of which are Nintendo properties, so the additional copyright info would have been redundant. at E3 we will likely see a full blown trailer with a whole cast of characters shown with a character copyright similar to Smash 4 trailers.
