Yeah, using “Caucasian” as a synonym for white is about as accurate as the Aryan term. Caucasians have white and brown skin, and are generally from Armenian, Georgian, and Azerbaijani lands occupying from what today is Iran to Russian territories located between the Black and Caspian seas.
White people are generally of European ancestry rather than Caucasian.
