There were some good art direction going on and some interesting ideas, but yeah. BP was better than Thor 1 and 2 in my opinion, but nowhere near 3. |
100% agree. Well, I probably enjoyed Thor 1 more. I've said it before, but BP felt like an early Marvel movie, where they hadn't struck the right balance with story, humor, and action, yet. Definitely not bad, but not as good as the 2nd or 3rd generation of Marvel releases. But, BP has basically become an event movie, at least here in the States, so most people are more forgiving of its flaws. I don't see this one aging well. Especially the effects. What was up with them? They looked straight out of Raimi's Spider-Man flicks, which were OK since it was 2002.
