The point of the OP was that PS3 took half the time to get to roughly the same sales vs 360 - which pretty much confirms that unless MS do something to really change fortune of 360 in Others its going to be a big gap in another 15 months if future sales follow previous sales.
Mind you given Wii has outsold both and launched same time as PS3 (give or take) it also shows how well its selling.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
