[Final-Fan]

I took a tour of my old rail system and it seems to have mostly held up well. There were some easily fixed issues, and I think wick's station had some more serious issues—certainly once I started digging around in there there were serious issues if there weren't before!—but that's fixed now. If anyone has questions or problems, please ask me. Even if it's not my rail line.

I noticed that the red lights were on in the spawn point rail station, but the reset system I had put in place was still working perfectly. The booster was not so perfect because apparently chests used to be acceptable backstops and now are NOT. But that was easy to fix.

I am either being stupid again or I have lost /give abilities. I'll ask the next time I see you in game. But as a result of this I went to the tree farm near the spawn point and it was a horrible mess. Oak is a nice starter tree because it gives apples, and the wood looks fine, but the "big" ones that sometimes spawn are just terrible for collecting. And people were not doing a good job of cleaning up that junk.

I razed the whole forest to the ground except for a few trees that were standing on wood or stone. I don't know what they are there for but I didn't want to mess with anything "special". I then replanted the whole thing with birch trees in an organized pattern. This should be more noob-friendly to navigate, collect, and replant, and won't turn into the mess that was there before. The only thing missing is apples. If desired the farm could be converted to Dark Oak but I doubt anyone will care.
