To jump to such strawman is also rather silly.

On topic though any blame/taxes or basically moves to say that video games cause or have any impact on school shootings is just pathetic, look at other countries which have games just as bad if not worse (curse you japan) than America and then see what number of school shootings those countries have had in 2018 so far.

It's just deflection away from the one thing that America has more of than anywhere else and is always a part of school shootings... I mean... I've not heard of anyone putting the box to GTA against someones temple and pulling the trigger.

I'm in no way trying to defend the stance of video games are the cause of school shootings or any other type of absurdity. There is no documented link.

I'm just not willing to take a leap to think that his office meeting with industry execs means much more than that.

If the meeting takes up even an hour of time which should be spent on the actual reasons for these shootings then it's counter productive, there has been a school shooting in the USA almost every 96 hours so far in 2018, sit in the room and explain to trump that a rating system already exists for an hour leaves you with 95 on the clock before some other kids lives are in danger because someone with unchecked mental health issues has been bullied to the point where they go home and find their folks gun to bring to class for show and tell.

Honestly if the talk about Video games doesn't at some point mention mental health of kids/teachers or guns then they might as well be in the room playing a game of Fifa for the hour for all the good it will do.
