There are still stock discrepancies with PS4 and Switch based on what I have seen over the week on the online stores of Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, and Amazon JP. Though I think Switch stock is generally stabilizing (it has been consistently available on Bic and Amazon's online stores but it sells out quickly on Yodobashi) and around 40K may be the baseline that we are looking at without major new releases at the current price. As for PS4, it has little stock at Bic and Amazon JP but has been consistently in stock at Yodobashi's online store.
As for software, Switch games and MH World appear to have impressive legs. Metal Gear Survive, while it certainly did not have a good opening, did better than I expected. I am still disappointed by Bayonetta 2's opening in Japan last week, on a personal level it has been one of the best portable experiences I have had, so I was hoping it would do better in a region like Japan.
