Switch still doing extremely well on Amazon all over Europe. The French in particular seem to have taken a liking to it. Both HW and SW selling briskly. The only markets where the PS4 is putting up a fight in Amazon Europe are the UK and Germany.

FIFA 18 on the switch has now outsold the X1 version for the past 2 weeks in the UK, I am sure no one in their wildest dream thought that could happen.

It is very clear the Switch is definitely appealing beyond its usual Nintendo centric fan base. Anyone who disputes that now is just avoiding reality.

A fan base centered on Nintendo is a myth. I say, something like something tiny, because the nintendos desk consoles vary a lot in total sales. While sales of nintendo's portable consoles typically range from 80 million to 150 million. And it's hard to measure what the core fan base is. I believe in two types of products: the old nintendo and new nintendo. Nes had more than 60 million sellers, basically in the US and Japan. Sega and then Sony opens the European market. The first console Nintendo console that hit the European market was the Wii The old Nintendo is the classic arcade gamer(2d mario, classic zelda, classic dk rare and retro, wii sports, wii fit, brain age, metroid prime, etc) and new nintendo is 3d cinematrograph looks games ( like 3d mario, aonuma's Zelda,Other M, etc).
