I honestly fail to see what Konami expected from this Metal Gear Survive. I remember reading the pro-survive articles out there saying 'this is what the franchise needed' and 'we don't need Kojima'. But like as a fan of the series, this is literally the opposite of what AI wanted. Metal Gear was always steeped in a pseudo super natural world, but this is just dumb.
