Now I remember one incident.
My cousin and me went out into the water, not far from the shore. We were 8-9 years old. He couldn't swim. He was on some kind of cheap swimming pool mattress. He fell off into the water and went into panic mode. I tried to swim over to him from the front to pull him over to the shore. He pressed me down. Instead of him drowning I was now, too. I tried to move up, but there was no ground to push myself up, so I tried to get some distance from him. He was still struggling, and I screamed for help. No one was listening and no one was close enough. So I tried again to pull him towards me by swimming over to him. To my surprise, this time I had a ground under me so I could get a better hold of myself to grab him and calm him down. He then also noticed that there was something he could stand on. We moved out of the water and told my and his parents, they were quite shocked. I was too, because I thought that he was a goner.

Wait...that story has to be about me dying, right? .hm..damn.

Well, that one thing that bothered me was how I was able to stand. I was certain there was nothing under me to get him.
