There is a HUGE difference between the two. Half a billion cows is astronomically more meat than half a billion chickens.
Like 750 lbs of meat vs like 2 lbs of meat.

Here's their source. It's primarily chickens. (Which makes sense as they make up the vast majority of the numbers of animals killed, so they'd also make up the vast majority of reductions).
