That‘s exactly the thing...gaming started to bore me after 35 years. Just more of the same with very few exceptions. Not anymore...wasn’t this excited for gaming since the PS1 times. No new medium like a CD/DVD/BluRay ever did this.

So you’re saying N64 or PS1 weren’t a revolution either, because it took many years until tens of millions owned one?!

You’re just searching for excuses it seems. Circle jerking over the exact meaning of “revolution” doesn’t change the fact that VR offers a revolutionary experience. To acknowledge that doesn’t mean that it needs to replace anything.
